Today was a great day in school - it was World Book Day 😀
We had so much going on - a school assembly to show off our amazing (!!!) costumes, fun activities in class and even had some special visitors in to read!
Take a look at our wonderful costumes, some amazing pieces of work and can you spot any adults and special visitors?
We had some of the younger children creating their character from different materials, some recreated their front cover of their book while the older children had to create a character then recreate it on Adobe Express. The older pupils also began to write a book for the P1/2 class! How exciting it will be when they are able to read their books to them.
Reading is such a wonderful and important part of life - reading can take us anywhere and we can read anywhere 😀
