P6/7 children were challenged to buy ingredients and make a tea time treat on a budget of £5. After agreeing on recipes the children went shopping. They had to carefully use maths skills to make sure they purchased the best priced ingredients. The children were awarded points for team work, taste, presentation and financial decision making and accounts.
