Family and friends packed the school hall to reflect on the past year and celebrate this year's achievements. The children entertained everyone with their enthusiastic singing and a group of KS2 children played recorders. Certificates were presented to each child and some special cups and shields were awarded. It was an emotional occasion as the PTA presented leaving gifts to Mrs Busby and Mrs Watt and we said goodbye to the P7 class. The children surprised Mrs Watt with songs and poems they had prepared to mark her retirement. Following the event, refreshments provided by the PTA were served. All enjoyed a special cake baked by a talented grandparent!
