P4-7 welcomed Shirlie from the Ulster Scots Agency to do a workshop with them relating to the language of Ulster Scots.
The children were fascinated and learnt that they actually use a lot of the same language and could easily know what was happening in the story, even though Ulster Scots was being used!
If you hear some “aye” and “foundered” and “houl yer whist” at home, you’ll know why 😀
