Patrick and Johnny from BEAM shared important internet safety messages with P5, P6 and P7 children. Key points included: 
  • The importance of creating private profiles.
  • Ensuring the use of Ghost Mode.
  • Understanding online posts are never gone when they are deleted.
  • Emotions are not always conveyed clearly in written messages so we should all take extra care to check what is written before sending a message.
  • Block, delete, tell and report if you encounter anything concerning online.
