The P6/7 class was very fortunate to have been invited to a disability awareness session impressively organised by a group of year 14 PE students from St Joseph’s Grammar School. The children participated in three activities along with children from two other local primary schools. They got to do gymnastics, were taught the fundamentals of sign language and got to experience the difficulties of playing sport in wheelchairs during a wheelchair Gaelic session.
