P3 and 4 pupils were invited by Donaghmore Horticultural Society to help plant some flowers, vegetables and herbs in a community garden near our school. The children did a great job and had the opportunity to learn more about different herbs. They were kindly treated to some rhubarb tart and juice as a reward for their hard work.
