On Wednesday 10th December, our school community came together for a truly special evening at St. Patrick’s Church in Donaghmore. What a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season!
First, a huge thank you to Rev. Thompson and his congregation for opening the doors of their beautiful church to us and for their kindness and encouragement throughout.
To our brilliant parents – we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for making sure the children looked so smart and arrived on time and for your generous donations towards the delicious refreshments organised by our fantastic PTA. To everyone who helped with car parking, serving, tidying up and all those behind-the-scenes jobs – your support means the world to us.
To our incredible staff – you went above and beyond! From rehearsing lines and songs with the children, preparing the service, decorating the church, and restoring it afterwards – your dedication shone through. A special mention to Mrs Bennett, whose musical talent makes this event truly magical every year!
We were delighted to have the beautiful music of Dungannon Silver Band and the wonderful photography of John Stafford to capture the memories.
And finally and most importantly… our stars of the show – the pupils of Donaghmore PS! You were AMAZING! You spoke with confidence, played your instruments so well and sang your hearts out. The sound you created was simply breathtaking – something even a much bigger school would envy! We are bursting with pride and you should be too. You’ve shown that when you put your mind to something, you can achieve anything!
