🏑 Well done to our fantastic girls’ hockey team! 🏑
Our girls took part in the Tri-County tournament at Cookstown Hockey Club today and performed brilliantly throughout the day. They faced strong opposition from Cookstown, Ballytrea, Moneymore, Coagh and Woods, securing two superb wins and narrowly missing out in the other matches.
The progress this team has made over the year has been tremendous and they should be incredibly proud of their efforts – we certainly are!
A special mention goes to our P7 girls, who played their final game for the school today. You have been outstanding role models for our younger pupils, not only in your hockey skills but in the pride and respect you show when representing our school. You will be greatly missed on the pitch next year – thank you for your dedication and commitment this season.
Congratulations to the winners, Killyman PS, and a huge thank you to Mr Cheevers from Orritor Primary School and Nursery Unit for organising such a fantastic event, as well as Cookstown High School for the use of their excellent facilities.
